Obviously this image is the ever popular YMCA song from 1978. Most couples tell us they want pictures of their guests having fun at the reception. Time to let their hair down and well ... put on funny hats and do silly dances. Maybe next week we'll profile the Chicken Dance.
We hope you attended the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show last weekend and visited our booth. Since we spend a lot of time shooting at Duke Gardens our booth had a garden theme. By the way, Gunter's Greenhouse in Durham supplied all the lovely plants for the booth. They rent plants for weddings and receptions.
The show was a lot of fun and we met a lot of brides-to-be and quite a few husbands who gave up watching NFLl for the afternoon. An interesting side note is that we gave away a free bridal session and the winner turned out to be a wedding photographer from Greensboro. Matter of fact she is marrying another wedding photographer!
As usual April-June weddings seem to be the most popular so if you are inerested in these months please check with us soon as 2008 is looking like a busy year.
We are investing in some new camera gear over the next few months and we are like kids at Christmas. The first arrival is the brand new Fujifilm S5 Pro camera. We shot one wedding with it so far and it looks like it is the best wedding camera ever. Photographers are such geeks when it comes to equipment!
