From a recent wedding


Things are pretty busy at the studio this week with meetings with new clients, pre-wedding meetings for upcoming weddings and post-wedding meetings with newlyweds to review images on the big screen. We have bridal sessions to edit, print orders to fill and ablums to create.

We greatly appreciate our clients and are thankful to be in this exciting business.

From a September wedding

Another weekend gone by and I have to confess that I made another trip to the mountains..and left Anne working AGAIN. Still sounds fair to me.

While I was gone Anne shoot a wedding and a bridal session, transported her girls to soccer and found time to go to the state fair.

I did spend some time learning some new editing techniques so I wasn't totally useless. (And watched football and baseball on TV).

From a Recent Wedding


I just returned from the Professional Photographers of NC seminar in Hickory (yes the leaves are starting to change in the foothills). This was one of several events sponsored by this group each year.

We also belong to the national organization – the PPA – and the local affiliate here in the triangle. Building relationships with other photographers & studios on a local level is invaluable. If someone is shopping for a photographer, active membership in professional organizations is one more factor to consider.

Here is an example of a detail shot from one of last weeks weddings. Anne has a great eye for catching the little shots that help tell the story. This is a good example of a high-key photo with blown out whites - boy does it every make those flowers POP!
