OK, we needed a facelift.......

So we launched our updated website today!

Same address: http://www.jacobyweddingphoto.com/

Go check out our new look. But like all new sites we have some technical bugs to work out so if something doesn't work please let us know!!!!!

We have a few things to add over the next week but we couldn't wait to take it for a test drive right away.

Our hope is that the new site will allow us to post more pictures on a regular basis and keep our site fresh. We welcome your comments and suggestions!

Duke Gardens - September 2007

Well another week has gone by and it's time for this weekend's weddings. While we're happy to see some rain....we hope it stops long enough for the brides to stay dry tomorrow!

We shot a great engagement session in the mountains last weekend and look forward to the couples wedding in Franklin NC in June. That's right. June is just around the corner - or at least it seems that way.
Anne & Mark spent two days attending a PPNC educatonal event last week. We heard presentations from several excellent teachers and came away with some fresh ideas for 2008. It's hard to devote time to these events but time and money spent on education is a wise investment.
Have a great weekend!

Charisse & John

While images from this evening's wedding are being downloaded, it is a good time to update our blog. The weather today was perfect. It was on the shore of Lake Montague which is a great site for a wedding.

The evening ended with a music from a bluegrass band with guests adding vocals while reading lyrics by candlelight. A perfect wedding.

Next week will be busy. We are attending a PPNC event for a couple days. Then bridal sessions and an engagement session in Franklin up in the mountains.

Hope your weekend is going great!

Joy & Jacob - Lake Gaston July 2007

Every now and then we get a recommendation from a bride that makes us feel good all over. Joy and Jacob were wed on a small island in Lake Gaston - the most intimate venue you could imagine. We just received this comment from Joy:

"Jacoby Photography was everything I expected and well worth the money!! They weren't just my photographers they were/are my friends! They went above and beyond to accomodate all my requests! There is no one else I would trust with recording my life stories! They earned a customer for life in me!"

Yes this is our business but it's not just about money. I tell clients we could make money shooting images for magazine ads. But wedding photography is a once in a lifetime event we get to share - every single weekend!

And meet really nice people like Joy and her family and keep them as friends.
