Carolina Inn 2006


It's like bumping into an old friend when I come across a favorite image. This was taken in the lobby of the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill just as the wedding party arrived for the reception and some adjustments were needed.

We are working on an interesting project for a bride who got married last year in South Carolina. Her wedding was photographed by a Charleston studio and she came to us to create an album with their images. We are building a nice Willow Book for her. We never know what the next day will bring to our studio!

We are busy meeting with couples planning their weddings and taking bookings for 2007 & 2008. The most requested date this year is 7/7/07 - but we booked that date almost a year ago.

We are very excited to be attending the annual convention of the Professional Photographers Association of NC which starts next week. I'll give you some details later on.

Did you ever see a lovelier Bride? Well I guess I say that at every wedding! But I'll let you be the judge. I know her husband won't argue with me.

Our Willow Book sample album is here and we are very excited. Our goal is to do business with only world class suppliers and we have found one to be proud of. Our sample is covered in rich red leather and has silk lining. The construction quality is superior and the images leap off the page. They do a great job. But you have to see & feel the quality for yourself to appreciate the workmanship.

We have also become a Pictage member. This won't mean much to you until you see the proof prints they produce and see their web gallery full of your own wedding images. More about that on another day. For now it's a busy weekend for us so it's back to work.

Bride & Groom wait before the ceremony

Except for the birth of a baby, I can't think of any other event that holds as much promise and expectation as a wedding.

Sometimes the best things happen when you just stand back and watch.
