The couple's June 30th reception was held at the Irregardless Cafe - a Raleigh Landmark. It was a morning wedding and they served an elegant bruch to their guests.

Well now, it's a rare weekend off for us and we needed to recharge our batteries. Last weekend's wedding at Lake Gaston could not have been nicer. Whenever you boat over 100 people to an island in July the word "thunderstorm" is always in the back of your mind but the weather was perfect.
The bride wanted pictures at sunset and the sky was ablaze in color. I think someone was watching over this wedding!

We also did another great wedding the previous week at St Michaels in Cary followed by a reception at the RTP Hilton. The couple hired G105 dj Mike Morse to do the music for the reception which added a bit of extra fun for his fans there.

I am still editing both of those weddings but will post images next week. Meanwhile we are going to enjoy the perfect weather this weekend and hope you do too!

This romantic couple had a Spanish theme wedding held at Cafe Luna in downtown Raleigh.

Anne took this good looking pair to Duke Gardens after their wedding for some Couple Shots.

We are headed to Lake Gaston this weekend to shoot a wedding on a private island. The couple will say their vows at sunset and then everyone will go by boat back to the reception on the mainland. It will be great fun to photograph.

It is remarkable how every couple puts their unique stamp on their wedding day. We can't wait for a sky diving couple so we can argue over which one of us has to jump with the newlyweds.

From my fortune cookie at lunch: "Excellence is defined as the difference between what I am doing and what I am capable of doing".

Each time we pick up a camera we are reaching for what we are capable of obtaining. We try to keep our eye on that prize and every time we get a little closer our goal moves a few inches away. So we keep pushing and stretching.

Looks like I forgot to update the blog for a while now. We've been very busy with weekly weddings and bridal sessions. We thought we would share a few images from a recent wedding at a horse farm.
